I heard a most ridiculous thing today. I heard that learning about vaccines is pointless because it does not make money.
It is ridiculous for many reasons one of them being the fact that pharmaceutical companies make large sums of money.
Further more making money is not the most important thing. It is certainly important to some degree for self sufficiency and to carry out work that one must and to enjoy themselves. Without vaccinations and many other technological and scientific discoveries many of us simply would not be living for some reason or another. So I hope that less people care only about making money and care about doing something.
Since what a person cares about shines through and it lights them up therefore helping to illuminate those around you. |

A friend of a friend of mine is dedicating his MS Bike Tour to my friend Eva. He's collecting donations for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and would appreciate any donations for this debilitating disease. Please, applaud him and help him raise some money. Every bit helps of course and if you can't help...there's always posting or getting the word out by the magical *copy and paste*. Ms society. Thank you James for making a difference and for helping several of my friends and several friends that I might not know about yet! You're amazing.

I saw something magic today and it was Steve jobs.
A clip of his speech ended up on financial news today and when he was talking about making the iphone less expensive.
I could see that he never gave up the dream of making technology useful, beautiful, and attainable for people.
Which means the lisa lives on, and we might still have hope yet of better todays. |
