i loooove Matilda. I was baby-sitting recently and the eldest child had been reading Matilda and had left it out, and I just sat down and started reading it. I think I have read that book about 10 times, at least. It was one of my absolute favorites growing up. good choice!

When you are a young sort with a curious mind many books pass through the hands and mind of children.
It was certainly an entertaining read that went quickly from symbol to symbol.
