The Lessons of the Mortal Visage. [Apr. 5th, 2015|07:39 am]
In the mirror I see you O death.
I know sometime soon will be my time.
It may not be this day, but it will be someday.

You have taught me so many lessons about the day.
You have taught me what is important when so few things are.

Though you would steal much of what I have loved, I have not been left without the ones that came before me.
I carry them in me.
I carry the memories and loves, and while those things are never heavy and they bier much light.
The efforts and tasks we are set to are serviced in our walks and meditations.

Friendship, love, caring and legacy are all that are left even as the sands of time would burn and cut us with it's grit.
