The origin of Master Kain is unknown, what is known about it is that it is not of this world. It is certain that Master Kain has other worldly origins.
It is unknown if it is supernatural, hypernatural, intercosmic, extracosmic, or a dynamic mesh as so the creatures that bound upon the perplex, things unknown and unseen. Though they are incomprehensible in a way to beings that only live within the dimensions they perceive. It’s presence is seen as many things to many people for reasons unknown. It may have to-do with the perceptual filter of one’s reality.
What one would will to see, one sees.
Such is the presence of this being. Always existing within the confines of the other's perceptual space. Riding rampant upon the software of the minds' perceiver of the mind.
